## Independence and reproducibility, stated plainly

This is first-party data read by Navigator's own agent. The total cannot be checked by an outsider without access to the account. What an outsider can do is take any client Navigator names and confirm, in seconds, that its nameservers are aaden.ns.cloudflare.com and amalia.ns.cloudflare.com, the same as navigator.ca. The 125 hosted sites that also carry a public footer credit are therefore fully public evidence; the remaining 127 are withheld at the business's discretion.

## Hosting versus DNS management

The headline number counts zones in the account, which mixes two different things. The September 2026 DNS sweep separates them: 112 zones resolve directly to a Navigator origin server, 184 are Cloudflare-proxied so the origin cannot be seen from outside, 52 resolve to a host other than Navigator, 7 are Shopify storefronts, and 17 have no address record at all (redirects or parked domains).

So "hosts or manages DNS for 255 sites" is accurate, and "hosts 255 sites" would not be. The publicly provable subset is the 115 domains that resolve to a Navigator origin address, which anyone can check with a single DNS query.
